enabled by the Australian Government’s Global Supply Chain Program, which facilitates relationships with the biggest merchants of death .

Within this list of 240 suppliers in the GSC Program sits Electromold Australia, a small to medium enterprise (SME) owned
by Lovitt Technologies Australia.
So how does a small, seemingly innocuous factory at 202 Holt
Parade, Thomastown become so deeply entrenched in the military industrial complex?

By the coast of Corio Bay on Wathawurrung country, Geelong is the
second largest city in Victoria.
Geelong has long been a major manufacturing and port centre for
Victoria.
Ford had been a major employer in Geelong since the mid 1900s, but with Australia’s entry into many free trade
agreements in pursuit of mineral and agricultural exports, it signed away ts
rights under international law to continue to support local manufacturing industries.
Except for one: the military industry.
Geelong is now seeking to become a major producer of military equipment to replace the loss of vehicle
manufacturing.

This is the story of a relatively new Australian weapons company: Australian Sovereign Defence and Advanced Manufacturing Group, normally refered to as ASDAM.
ASDAM are Australia’s largest supplier to the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program, manufacturing parts for every F-35 in the world… including those used by Israel to
wage a genocidal war on Palestinians.

The region around Dandenong has long been associated with light industrial engineering.
Many of the factories in the area are small family owned businesses producing all manner of parts. The move towards trade liberalisation which began in the 1980s however imposed a false equality between
these small family firms and major corporations producing similar components in less than ideal conditions overseas.
As a result many companies were forced to close… whilst some sought to diversify into the only game left in town: the arms trade.

HTA Global is an Australian based
company that plays a critical role
in the genocide taking place in

The kind of weapons that are being
used in Gaza, and indeed in all
conflicts today, are very highly
engineered pieces of equipment.
A plane such as the F-35 or the F-16
is made up of thousands of parts
produced around the world: There
are about 50 factories in Australia
making parts for the F-35 Joint
Strike Fighter alone.
All the metal parts for the F-35 need to to
undergo very specific metalurgical
treatments to bring them up to what
is called Nadcap Standard (US
National Aerospace and Defense
Contractors Accreditation Program)
before they can be fitted to fighter
planes.
HTA’s facilities in Campbellfield,
Sydney and Brisbane are where this
happens.

Australia is actively involved in every

weapons that are being used to
undertake the deliberate and
calculated attempt at genocide of
Palestinians by Israel and its allies.
